The longest summer film festival BNP Paribas Kino Letnie on July 1st. The guest of honor at the ceremonial opening in Giżycko will be Jerzy Skolimowski.

BNP Paribas Kino Letnie is one of the most important summer events, which has firmly established itself in the calendar of Polish holidays. The festival has celebrated the love of cinema for many years and invites you to watch films in exceptional, breathtaking natural surroundings. Film lovers can enjoy 16 film evenings. Every Tuesday and Wednesday the festival docks in Giżycko. On Tuesdays - as part of the We Love Cinema series, sponsored by BNP Paribas Bank - hits from world festivals are presented, and on Wednesdays there is an author’s review of the most interesting Polish cinema under the slogan Made in Poland. All Polish films are screened with English subtitles. The festival along with accompanying events takes place under the Honorary Patronage of the Mayor of Giżycko, Ewa Ostrowska.
