Mamerki - former headquarters of the German Army from 1941 to 1945. It houses the World War II Museum mainly related to the Eastern Front. Over 30 intact bunkers, 38 m observation tower.
From April 26, 2025, you can visit a 1:1 scale replica of the Amber Room in Mamerki. Walls, ceiling, floor measuring 10 m x 10 m, height 8 m in a new exhibition pavilion!
After the war, Erich Koch, former Gauleiter of East Prussia, said that the Amber Room was hidden in Mamerki.
