It’s hard for adults to imagine what kids are most attracted to. Perhaps that’s because these aren’t any loans to pay off or working overtime. So when we go on vacation, we have a reset from work and the desire to save money in our minds, while our children do the opposite.
Can children and adults meet halfway in these different worlds? The answer is yes, Masuria. How to organize a vacation in Masuria, so that there are attractions for everyone?
For reasons we do not fully understand, children can spend whole days on vacation in a closed playground with colorful balls and a not very exciting slide. And then we sit and think impatiently about the beach, sightseeing or beauty treatments. We meet on common ground, mainly in a restaurant, when everyone wants to eat something. Well, maybe this is an extreme version, but it happens so. What attractions in Masuria will please both children and whole families? We advise.

Wilkasy is a village located a few kilometers from Giżycko, which attracts tourists in good and bad weather. Why? There is a sports and recreational complex with gyms, a bowling alley, a climbing wall and billiards. First of all, there is a swimming pool with a 30-meter slide, an artificial river, an island with a jacuzzi and a beach.
Children, especially the younger ones, tend to be very interested in everything related to animals. At home, we constantly find figurines of a tiger, a beak or an antelope, and whenever there is an opportunity, we march to the Zoo. On vacation, you have to visit the game park, which was created by a passionate adult. We will see emu ostriches, Scottish and zebu cows, kangaroos, fallow deer, milu deer, Vietnamese pigs, buffalo, llamas and pheasants.
Located next to the Boyen Fortress in the forest by the lake. There are several routes: baby, low, medium, high and downhill. The minimum age for children for whom there are attractions on the baby trail is 3 years. You do not need to have a harness, because the entire route is protected by nets. There are 10 obstacles, including a pool with your favorite balls. On the medium route there are already ziplines liked by older children.
Galindia is the land of the historic Galindian tribe and here begins a magical tour of the demon dungeons, the amber chamber, the witch’s cave, and the shaman’s underground cave. Next to restaurants and bars, there is also a Galindian playground and adventure park. Outdoor shows will also be an attraction for children.
This is where you can really travel into space. Wandering through the starry sky and learning to recognize the constellations is also an attraction for adults. There is also an exhibition of meteorites that have fallen to us from the sky. This place has a very rich educational offer for children of different age groups, which can be an interesting diversion for visiting youth camps.

An hour-long car or tractor-trailer ride among hundreds of wild animals is a unique attraction for children. You can see as many as 24 different species of animals. There are even car seats for the smallest visitors. The zoo is open all year round and is located in Okrągłe near Giżycko.
In the vicinity of Giżycko, there is the Borecka Primeval Forest, and it is home to as many as 80 bison. These largest European mammals live up to 45 years. Thanks to the viewing platform, you can watch these animals being fed, and with a guide, you can visit the bison pen.

The park, with an area of 30,000 m2, houses miniatures reflecting the monuments of the region. We can photograph ourselves in historical costumes, the fitting room of which is located on the premises of the facility. In addition, for the elderly, a military park with weapons and vehicles, and for the younger ones, an amusement park with trampolines, electric train, inflatable slides, swings and bungee.
Here, children can enrich their knowledge of Indian culture and customs. They will learn what different tribes ate and what a teepee and wigwam are. You can make bread or soap at organized workshops. There is also a museum of handicrafts, weapons and costumes of the North American Indians.
For slightly older children and parents, learn to float on a board, holding on to a rope pulled by a boat. It turns out that it is such an uncomplicated attraction that children can also learn it.
While staying on the water, remember that we are in Masuria and that the main attraction for the big and small should be a yacht or sailboat cruise on the surrounding lakes
